Edward Rulief Kelley, Ph.D.
My story is primarily one of dynamic integration of art and spirituality. It is the intermingling of the family stories of my mother's stable artistisan heritage with those of the unshackled shamanistic mystical lives of my father's clan. Forces that found a genetic focal point in me.
A frequent visitor to the Metropolitan Museum of Art by age 12, I began to progress as a painter myself. Art was my primary spiritual focus until my first religious awakening at age 16. Since that transformative moment in 1965 I have continually sought greater consciousness, experiencing dimensions perceptible to the mind and soul, through the discovery of the
way of noledge as it is reified in art.
